In this Injustice Gods Among Us Video, we show off the maxed out Scarecrow’s Ventilator Mask.
Reflects 20-40% Blocked SPECIALS Damage back at opponent
On Tag in Healing is negated for 5-9.50 seconds(.25 seconds a rank)
On Tag in 50-100% chance(5%/rank) that the opposing player cannot see their character icons
We also spent all of our credits on the Bone Spikes, Blue Lantern Ring, Scarecrow’s Ventilator Mask, and Killer Croc.
The Scarecrow Mask blocks
Direct Healing(Gear that heals on specials)
Harley Quinn’s .357 Revolvers AND team Heal
The Scarecrow Mask DOES NOT block
Fourth World 3 Piece
Blackest Night Hawkgirl’s Heal on knockout
Zod’s heal when a teammate is knocked out
The Reflect on Specials is 100% of the time, for 40% of the damage, so it’s just like using the Fourth World Chestplate, except it’s always on.
ALL specials reflected generate power, so this is a good way to get to 3 bars quickly if the opponent is using a Fourth World Dawn of Justice Batman or Arkham Knight Batman. This is also a very good defense against Ares’s God Smack, as most of the damage will get mitigated, Ares will take the majority of the damage, and you only have to worry about blocking disabled for 10 seconds.
Killer Croc’s Gear also mitigates special damage by 30%
ALL Damage Mitigation stacks, and if you use the Lexcorp Chestplate and IT also reflects, you will take ZERO damage on a special.
Red Son Green Lantern and Man of Steel General Zod both generate 20% reduced damage on Specials.
So, I think the proper way to use this gear item is as an additional layer of blocking, NOT to block heals.
Do you disagree with me? Fourth World healing is a LOT more dangerous than cards that use +Healing on Special.
